Summary position offered:

“Identification of an index of early neurodegeneration with prognostic value in patients with newly diagnosed multiple sclerosis” (RTI2018-096951-A-I00). Call for the State R + D + i Program Oriented to the Challenges of Society 2018.

Gross monthly salary: € 1,581.64 per month with prorated extra payments, plus 10% of the variable remuneration incentive of the total annual gross according to achievement of objectives

Evaluation

The valuable merits presented will be evaluated with 70% (congresses, courses, languages ​​...), and

the interview with 30% of the score.

If the essential merits are not met, they do not go to the merit assessment phase

valuable.

Scale of valuable merits:

• Possess knowledge in development, programming and application of cognitive tasks

specific in environments such as Python (Psychopy, Expyriment) and Matlab (Psychotools),

in synchronization with the different registers (up to 2 points).

Possess knowledge and / or experience in the field of neurosciences, especially in

the analysis of brain images obtained by MRI and secondly, data

obtained in electrophysiological recordings (up to 2 points).

• Knowledge of statistical analysis programs (R, SPSS) (up to 1 points).

• Knowledge in analysis methodologies based on Big Data, Machine Learning and

Deep Learning (up to 1 point).

• High knowledge in English (mainly in oral and written comprehension)

(up to 1 point).

Functions to be performed

1. Programming of scripts for the joint analysis of multimodal biomedical data,

which mainly include brain images obtained by means of

Structural and functional Magnetic Resonance (MRI) and data derived by tomography

of optical coherence (OCT) and electrophysiological signals.

2. Participation in the processing and analysis of multimodal records, including data

obtained by MRI, OCT, and electrophysiological recordings.

3. Advanced analysis of brain images, both at a structural level (analysis of

voxel-based morphometry) and at the functional level in paradigms in state of

rest for the analysis of functional connectivity and brain mapping.

4. Continuous assistance to possible inconveniences and adaptations of character

computing that may occur during data acquisition and analysis

later in the context of a multidisciplinary research team.

Skills/Qualifications

 
Possess knowledge and / or experience in the field of neurosciences, especially in

the analysis of brain images obtained by MRI and secondly, data

obtained in electrophysiological recordings.

• Possess knowledge in development, programming and application of cognitive tasks

specific in environments such as Python (Psychopy, Expyriment) and Matlab (Psychotools),

in sync with the different registers.

• Have previously worked with data from neurological patients and / or

psychiatric.

• Knowledge of statistical analysis programs (R, SPSS).

• Knowledge in analysis methodologies based on Big Data, Machine Learning and

Deep Learning.

• High knowledge in English (mainly in oral and written comprehension).

Features

Specific Requirements

Graduate or equivalent in: engineering (biomedical, informatics), and be in possession of the bachelor's degree at the time they apply for the position.

• Must have a profile clearly oriented towards computer programming, with creditable specialized training in Matlab and Python.

• Demonstrable work experience as a programmer (minimum 1 year).
