Job Duties:

• Conduct research in circuit and system design, with a focus on virtual prototyping and processor verification
• Contribute to the further development of the open-source RISC-V VP++ project
• Prepare scientific publications for recognized international conferences and journals
• Present research findings at academic meetings and conferences
• Contribute to collaborative research projects
• Co-supervise students, including Bachelor’s and Master’s theses
• Assist in organizing and delivering courses

Your Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must have a Diploma/Master’s degree in computer science
• Excellent research skills and a strong interest in Electronic Design Automation (EDA)
• Strong expertise in the following areas: virtual prototyping, transaction-level modeling, verification and coverage, vector architectures, and RISC-V
• Very good knowledge of imperative programming languages, particularly C++ and SystemC
• High motivation and a strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
• Strong initiative and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent German (level C1) and very good English language skills (level B2 or higher)
