Candidates are required:

• a university degree;
• at least 5 years professional experience in the field of research results commercialisation, technology transfer and cooperation between academia and business;
• knowledge of intellectual property law, particularly regarding the protection, management and commercialisation of research results;
• knowledge of technology valuation principles and the ability to prepare technology proposals;
• an entrepreneurial approach to the commercialisation of research outcomes and the ability to identify a technology’s market potential;
• the ability to conduct negotiations and experience in holding discussions with business and institutional partners at the level of management boards and decision-makers;
• competence in strategic communication;
• knowledge of English at a level sufficient to conduct international cooperation, including negotiations and the preparation of documentation;
• independence, initiative and excellent organisational skills;
• no conflict of interest and no competitive activities in relation to the CENTERA2 Terahertz Research and Applications Centre.

1. Submission of all required documents: 

1. a letter of application to the Vice-Rector for General Affairs;
2. a CV including the clause: "I consent to the processing of my personal data necessary for the recruitment process, in accordance with the Act of 29 August 1997 on Personal Data Protection.";

3) personal questionnaire for the candidate;

4) copy of the diploma of higher education confirming the obtained master’s degree or an equivalent degree;

5) other documents certifying additional qualifications;

6) a declaration on:

1. the full capacity to perform acts in law,
   1. enjoying full civil rights,
   2. not being convicted by a valid sentence for an intentional crime or an intentional tax offence,
   3. no disciplinary penalty as defined in Article 276 section 1  items 7 and 8 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 being imposed on them.

Candidates who have submitted complete application will be screened by a recruitment committee and selected candidates will be invited for a web-based or telephone-based interview in front of the committee in October/November 2026 (in-person interviews are also possible at the candidate’s expense). WUT reserves the rights to close the competition without selecting a candidate. In such a case, a new job offer will be published.

The person will be employed for Project No. FENG.02.01-IP.05-T004/23 titled “Center for Terahertz Research and Applications CENTERA2”. The project is co-financed by the European Union through the European Funds for Smart Economy 2021-2027 (FENG), Competition of the Foundation for Polish Science, Priority 2 Innovation-friendly environment, Measure 2.1 International Research Agendas.
