Cracow University of Technology in Krakow ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION FOR THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT (F/M) IN THE GROUP OF RESEARCH AND TEACHING STAFF, DEPARTMENT OF INFOTRONICS AND CYBERSECURITY (E-3) AT THE FACULTY OF ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING
Proportion of work time: full time

- Essential requirements:
- MSc/ME degree or equivalent,
- Documented knowledge of English
- Significant achievements during master studies or previous professional career, taking part in research or R&D projects or scientific publications
- Completed pedagogical course or willingness to complete the course within the first year of employment
- Documented Polish knowledge (in case of foreigners)
- Additional requirements:
- Completed training in the field of robotics in industrial companies
- Participation in conferences
- Scope of tasks performed/job description (responsibilities and entitlements):
- Implementation of the teaching load in Polish in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Automatic Control, Computing Science in Computer Engineering and Infotronics in accordance with the Cracow University of Technology employment regulations - 240 class hours and consultation for students
- Interdisciplinary research work in a team or independent with extensive use of knowledge in automation, electrical engineering, etc., documented by achievements and scientific publications declared in the departmental discipline of Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Space Technologies
- Taking care of didactic laboratories, preparing instructions and didactic materials for conducted classes, carrying out evaluations etc.
- Implementation of tasks related to cooperation with industry: research orders, R&D projects
- organizational work within the department, faculty and/or university
- Description of working conditions, we offer, among other things,
- remuneration for work:
- fixed components of remuneration in the amount of:
- base salary ranging from 5 000 PLN to 6 100 PLN
- seniority allowance depending on length of service, i.e., from 3% to 20% of base salary
- variable remuneration components specified in the CUT Employee Remuneration Regulations
- fixed components of remuneration in the amount of:
- remuneration for work:

- Career development prospects:
Gaining experience in conducting research projects, publishing scientific papers and teaching classes, which in the long term allows for promotion to the position of assistant professor. Developing competencies in modern technologies and collaboration with industry, participating in research and development projects, and building scientific specialization.

- photocopies of documents certifying education;
- List of publications/patents and other achievements constituting the candidate's scientific output;
- Letter of recommendation for the post of assistant (F/M) in the group of research and teaching staff
- Document confirming knowledge of English, and in case of foreigners a document confirming knowledge of Polish

- Certificate of completion of a pedagogical course or commitment to complete the course within the first year of employment

Employment will take place after a competitive selection process in accordance with Chapter VI. Stages of the recruitment process, OTM-R policy consisting of:
- analysis of the submitted documentation,
- conducting interviews (face-to-face or via instant messaging software).
Required documents must be submitted at Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Cracow University of Technology, 31-155 Krakow, Warszawska Street 24, room 203, between 9:00 am-3:00 p.m.

Cracow University of Technology reserves the right to cancel the competition without stating reasons.
The result of the competition is not tantamount to the employment of the candidate (F/M),
but is only a recommendation to the Rector. The final employment decision rests with the Rector.
