- work environment: He/she will carry out his/her research at IRIM  (Montpellier infectiology research institute) within the MDVA team and as part of the CEFIPRA research program.

- main mission: The objective of the project is to decipher, at the molecular level, the determinants responsible for the assembly of enveloped viruses on biomembranes. This will be done in vitro, by following the initiation and elongation of viral assembly proteins on biomimetic membranes of controlled lipid composition (including fluorescent analogues) using dynamic microscopy (local probe + optical). Overall, we will identify common determinants between the different interactions between viral proteins and phopholipids experimentally on model membranes and theoretically through numerical simulations.

- activities:Generate biomimetic membranes of different lipid compositions on different types of substrates (from SLB to fs-SLB). Monitor the interactions and self-assembly of viral proteins using dynamic super-resolution microscopy (FCS, Time-course STED, STED-FCS, etc.). Propose models of viral assembly mechanisms. Disseminate science through articles, presentations, meetings, and seminars.
