DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments): 

Applicants must pass the requirements specified in article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended) and § 60(4) of the Statute of Cavalry Captain Witold Pilecki State University of Małopolska in Oświęcim and must meet the following requirements:

1. a doctoral degree (PhD) in medical and health sciences, within the discipline of medical sciences or health sciences;
2. the professional title of medical doctor;
3. currently practising as a medical doctor and holding a medical specialisation. A specialisation in internal medicine is preferred;
4. a minimum of three years of practical experience working as a medical doctor;
5. An aptitude for scientific and research work, and willingness to undertake training and expand professional competencies;
6. teaching and organisational achievements, particularly in creating class schedules, organising teaching activities, and developing syllabuses;
7. command of Polish in speech and writing;
8. preferred will be candidates for whom Cavalry Captain Witold Pilecki State University of Małopolska in Oświęcim will be the primary place of work.

Required documents: 

1. an application for admission to the post referring to the number of the competition to which the application relates and indicating clearly the field of science and scientific discipline and the Institute in which the competition is open, with the stipulation that each competition requires a separate application;
2. a personal questionnaire for the applicant;
3. documents confirming the professional qualifications required for the position, including the right to practise the profession, if required for the position;
4. documents confirming the candidate's achievements (photocopies of diplomas granting
   academic degrees and titles);
5. career history (professional curriculum vitae), specifying scientific (including publications), teaching and organisational achievements - depending on the type of position (self-report characterising scientific and teaching achievements);
6. a declaration concerning legal capacity, the exercise of public rights and clear criminal record - annex 1 to the competition notice;
7. a declaration concerning a choice of the university as the primary or secondary place of work - annex 2 to the competition notice;
8. in the case of providing personal data in a broader scope than that resulting from 
   Article 22¹ § 1 of the Labour Code (i.e. in the case of including additional personal data beyond those legally required) - a declaration of consent to the processing of personal data beyond those legally required included in the application documents for the purposes of the recruitment process - annex 3 to the competition notice.
